13^th August, MBS China Centre jointly organised a Business Networking event - China Opportunities Seminar for “Study China Programme" Participants in Shanghai. Ms. Sherry Fu and Natalie Rodgers from UK were delighted to be present at the banquet.

3^rd July, to congratulate MBS on its 50th Anniversary, PARKER Great China presented a special gift to MBS China Centre to celebrate this special year.

8^th June is the talent learning week of Unilever North Asia, tailor made for thousands of employees based in Shanghai office. MBS China Centre, as the Talent management Partner of Unilever was invited to attend a series of the event, interacted with senior management people and provided intelligent talent management solutions onsite.

23^rd July is Great Heat (大暑) according to Chinese lunar calendar, MBS China Centre has invited Ji Pei, Doctor of JUNHE TCM, Mr. Chang and Mr. Yang, two Tai Chi masters from Wudang Mountain, the well-known Taoist Mountain in China, to give some practical advice to our students and prospective students on dos and don’ts during Great Heat.  

6^th August, MBS China Centre has invited Simon Stewart, Business Advisory Director of China Britain Business Council to present a hot topic - Innovation and Entrepreneurship to Global Executive MBA prospective students.

8^th July, Taking the opportunity Paul Evans came Shanghai to deliver first workshop “Global Business Environment” for Global MBA July 2015 intake students, we were honored to invite him to give a sample class to the public. Through this event, MBS China Centre kicked off new round recruitment of January 2016 intake.

18^th July, Professor Geraint Davies who was teaching strategic management workshop at China Centre took advantage of his lunch time to talk to prospective MBA students. He explained briefly what is strategic management, how he teaches this class, the group work, panel discussion and the examination. 

22^nd September, Dr. Alison Ashton, Course Coordinator for Marketing, delivered introductory insights from a strategic perspective of business marketing and shared the most cutting-edge cases and theories on Marketing with our potential MBA students.  

3^rd July, the Alumni Event “Global Business Trend and Supply Chain Complexity” was successfully held in the evening of Friday, which attracted around 70 Global MBA students and alumni. Our distinguished Speaker, Paul Man, shared his insight and years of experience in the supply chain industry.  

As part of the career service to our students and alumni, MBS China Centre has established strategic cooperation with Lumina Learning, a UK leading assessment, to provide professional training to new joining MBA students as the first step in their career transformation journey.

27^th August, alumni and Career Service Event “Pharmaceutical Industry Marketing” was successfully held. Stephen Feng, Associate Brand Director of Lilly China and Ti Wang, a young Entrepreneur, shared their insights of China healthcare industry, the current market overview and analysis of this industry.  

CHINA'S stock market has been experiencing volatility in recent months. During Dr. Ning Gao's stay in Shanghai for delivering Corporate Finance workshops for Manchester Global MBA students, Dr. Ning Gao pointed out that such drastic fluctuation reflected the inefficiency of the stock market's function of resource allocation.

Early August, Tencent interviewed Ms. Sherry Fu, as part of their popular programme "Dialogue with Head of Famous Business Schools in China" and the live interview is achieved on the Business School page at qq.com. 

Sherry was interviewed by City Weekend, and the article was published in "The Shanghai Guide 2016" distributed to all Top Offices building and Five star hotels. Sherry introduced MBS China Centre and programmes delivered locally in China. She emphasised that “In MBS, we want our students to challenge authority, to think hard, to think big and to think global”.
