Open Lecture delivered by Prof. Kevin Jagiello at Unilever

3rd February, Ms. Sherry Fu along with members of the Marketing and the Alumni/ Career Development teams visited Unilever North Asia centre. We were honored to have Prof. Kevin Jagiello, leading strategy consultant and voted Academic of the Year at School to deliver a Strategic Management Session with our corporate partner Unilever.
The group of MBS visitors recceived warm welcome from Mr. Mead Zhang, HR VP Unilever North Asia and Ms. Ines Adriana Olano, HR Director Unilever North Asia. Within the group, Kevin shared his insights of the corporate’s strategic position and people development.
Over the lunch hour, more than 70 Unilever employees attended the seminar on ‘Structural Determinants of Performance’, where Kevin discussed with the audience ‘Profit Impacts of Markets’ and ‘Relations of Quality and Value’. Real Unilever case studies were introduced and received great responses from the audience. The seminar introduced powerful Strategic Management methodologies applied in dynamic business environment.
After Kevin’s session, Sherry took the opportunity to share with the interested managers information of our Manchester Global MBA programme and its application details.
