Healthcare Leadership & Technology Forum Held at China Centre
 

On Tuesday 8th Jan, the University of Manchester China Centre hosted a Healthcare Leadership Forum as part of a series of centre-based Healthcare Industry events. The forum was co-organized with Leadin Training Group and offered an insightful opportunity to General Managers, HR Directors, Operations Directors and Physicians from healthcare service, medical technology, life sciences as well as students and alumni from healthcare industry.


China Centre Launched MSc Project Management (Distance Learning)
 

14th Jan marks the launch of Master of Science in Project Management Distance Learning Programme at University of Manchester China Centre. China Centre Director Ms. Sherry Fu hosted the event along with distinguished guests Mr. Matthew Knowles (Area Director of British Council),  Dr. Ian William Hutt (Head of Distance Learning Operations of Manchester University), and Dr. Paul W Chan (PM Course Director).


Manchester Global MBA Jan. 2019 Induction held in China Centre
 

From 10th to 11th Jan 2019, the new intake of Manchester Global MBA students was welcomed by China Centre team at the start of their 2-year MBA journey.

The cohort comprised of MBA candidates from diverse industry backgrounds from Finance, Life Sciences, Industrial, Management Consulting and more. An average of 8 to 15 years work experience has been possessed among candidates, representing leading companies such as AstraZeneca, Phillips, Lenovo, Maersk, SAIC, GroupM and more.


Michail in China - Story of Global MBA Alumni
 

By the end of 2018, Manchester Global MBA July 2016 intake student Michail Stiligkas shared his achievement via social media. He successfully completed MBA study, meanwhile, he also transformed his career from a senior manager to entrepreneur by founding his own company.

Balance for Better - International Women's day afternoon tea
 

International Women's Day has been made special by celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women, as we pay tribute to the female power shaping our society today. This year the theme is "balance for better". Balance drives a better working world. On 8th March, we wish to host a ladies-only Afternoon tea session at Manchester Cloud to celebrate this day with the aspiring group of ladies from our alumni, students and prospective students. Along with China Centre Director Ms. Sherry Fu, aspiring guests from the alumni community will share their story of female leadership.
