On 12 July 2023, a new intake of Manchester Global Part-time MBA students was welcomed by the China Centre team at the start of their two-year MBA journey.

Let’s have a look at this new intake profile. The average age of the students is 38.5 years, with an average of 15 years of work experience and 8.5 years of management experience, 82% are from multinational companies. 84% of all students already hold a bachelor's degree or higher before embarking on their Global MBA journey. We are pleased to see that females are the driving force behind this intake.

The cohort comprises MBA candidates from diverse industry backgrounds, including biotech/pharma, chemicals, energy, IT, manufacturing, automobile, FMCG, finance, media, and more.

The ceremony started with a brainstorming "Why an MBA?" and "Why choose AMBS" to mark the start of the MBA journey of transformation.

With more than a decade of work experience, they are transitioning into the role of students, aiming to gain a more comprehensive interdisciplinary perspective, refine innovative thinking, seize new business opportunities, and become global leaders with strategic thinking and a sense of social responsibility.
