2024年8月17日，为庆祝曼彻斯特大学200周年，2024曼彻斯特大学中国商业论坛在曼大中国中心成功举办，70余位校友到场参加，会上，上海市欧美同学会曼大校友会青年职业发展俱乐部正式成立。

On August 17, 2024, to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the University of Manchester, UoM China Business Forum was successfully held at China Centre. Over 70 alumni attended the event. SORSA UoM Alumni Association Young Professionals Career Development Club was officially established.

曼彻斯特大学中国中心主任傅潇霄为论坛致开场词。她热情地欢迎大家的到来，并深情回顾了中国中心16年来的发展历程。傅女士还预告了大学即将于10月22日迎来200周年特展开幕，欢迎校友们届时观展再聚。

Ms. Sherry Fu, director of the University of Manchester China Centre, delivered the opening speech of the forum. She warmly welcomed everyone and looked back on the development of the China Centre over the past 16 years. Sherry also announced that the university will hold a Bicentenary exhibition on October 22, and she welcomed alumni to visit the exhibition and gather again.

著名财经作家、《经济观察报》专栏作家吴晨，以“重塑时代之破局之道”为主题，深入剖析了当前经济形势下企业如何寻找新的增长点和破局策略。

The famous financial writer and columnist of the "Economic Observer", Mr. Chen Wu, with the theme of "The Path to Breaking Through in the Era of Reshaping", deeply analyzed how companies can find new growth points and breakthrough strategies under the current economic situation.

曼大博士、上海德此集团董事长钱晟磊，分享了他的创业经历和心得。

Dr. ShengLei Qian, chairman of Shanghai De Ci Group, shared his entrepreneurial experience and insights.

曼大经济学硕士、上海市欧美同学会曼大校友会会长、无锋科技联合创始人雷熙文，曼大MBA校友、小米汽车人力资源总监李锡彦，曼大金融管理硕士、美世中国高级副总监董璐参与了圆桌论坛。他们就青年校友的职业发展进行了深入讨论，为在场的年轻校友们提供了实用的职业发展建议。

Mr. Xiwen Lei, chairman of SORSA UoM Alumni Association, and co-founder of Wufeng Technology, Mr. Xiyan Li, an MBA alumnus of the University of Manchester and HR director of Xiaomi Automobile, and Ms. Lucy Dong, an alumna of financial management from the University of Manchester and senior vice president of Mercer China, participated in the roundtable forum. They had an in-depth discussion on the career development of young alumni and provided practical career development advice for the young alumni present.
