On the 7thof May 2014, the 2014 British Business Awards was launched at the British Ambassador's residence in Beijing. Sherry Fu, Manchester Business School China Regional Director attended the Launch Ceremony.
The Launch Ceremony marked opening of entry to 2014 British Business Awards including the Chinese Investor of the Year Award which MBS is proudly sponsoring. This fifth BBA not only recognises the success of British companies in China, but also Chinese companies in Britain.
The 2014 Awards are open to all majority British-owned companies or organisations operating in mainland China, Chinese alumni of British higher education institutions, and companies or organisations headquartered in mainland China with a presence in the UK. Awards are presented to successful companies and individuals in eight categories. Apart from the Chinese Investor of the Year which MBS is sponsoring, other categories are British Company of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, CSR, Best Product, Best Service, Sustainability and Chinese UK Alumnus.
