Rex Gu Joined Maersk Group since 2007 as management trainee, Rex has worked in trade & revenue management and finance leadership roles in Hong Kong, Mainland China, Australia, Russia and Baltics. Prior to moving to Shanghai, Rex was the General Manager of Business Finance for Maersk's Asia Pacific Region based in Hong Kong, providing finance business partnering for the region’s senior executives as well as developing & coaching for Finance Business Partners across Greater China, North East Asia, South East Asia, and Oceania areas.

 

Rex holds an MBA degree with distinction from Alliance Manchester Business School, The University of Manchester, and he is a Chartered Global Management Accountant, Fellow Member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, Member of CPA Australia, and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

 

Guest Speaker: Ms. Sophia Song, Senior VP, Banco Santander

 

 

Sophia Song has over 14 years corporate banking experience; worked at DBS Bank for about 10 years and Societe Generale for about 4 years. Now she is working at Banco Santander, the largest bank in Europe in terms of market capitalization, serving MNC corporate clients in China, as Senior Vice President. Sophia holds MBA degree from Alliance Manchester Business School, The University of Manchester and plays an active role in China Centre Finance Club.
