Director's Message

The dramatic spread of the coronavirus is painfully changing the world we live and the way market operates. During this difficult time, The University of Manchester China Centre tried our best to come up with strategies to deal with those unprecedented challenges brought by the ongoing Covid 19.

In the past three months, UoM China Centre has been actively cooperated with leading academics from the University of Manchester by hosting a series of online masterclasses and webinars in China open to the public, which provided attendees with great opportunity to learn from world-leading minds with diverse range of business projects. Together with our alumni community’s support, we invited our senior alumni and guest speakers to deliver keynote speech and industrial talk to enhance our programmes reputation. Also, our student support team proactively organized events to enrich our students learning experience with us.

Only in the darkness, you can see the stars. Under the environment of fear and uncertainty, I believe that working together with one heart will bring everyone a new life!

Sherry Fu

China Centre Director
