Director's Message

As poet Longfellow said, “the word May is a perfumed word. It is an illuminated initial. It means youth, love, song, and all that is beautiful in life.” And yes, in the merry month of May, the University of Manchester China Centre enjoyed the harvest by a half year of arduous work, feeling like a bird in its lyric mood.
In the past two months, the University of Manchester China Centre was committed to bringing the top quality international education to different cities in China, including Beijing, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Chongqing and Nanjing, with aims to extend our distinctive world leading educational concept to a much wider audience across China. Besides, China Centre maintained active interaction with our professional alumni to invite them to share with our prospective students about their learning experience and career transformation.
Bearing “No Barriers, No boundaries” in mind, China Centre will keep trying our best to support UoM worldwide students for an enriching experience through networking events, strong links with the local business community, and outstanding education informed by cutting-edge research.
Last but not least, I wish everyone a very happy Dragon Boat Festival!
Sherry Fu
China Centre Director
