About Speaker:

Sherry is the founding director of MBS China centre and responsible for the overall China operations, developing and implementing the MBS’ strategies and management of strategic partnerships in the China region. MBS China centre’s outstanding brand image for quality has been recognized in the national awards. Prior to joining the University of Manchester, Sherry worked for Fudan University and Cass business School of City University of London based in China Britain Business Council. She is a non-executive director of Belford International in Hong Kong and her early career was a TV hostess at Macau Satellite TV. She is an associate professor of linguistics and visiting scholar to London School of Economics and Politics and Oxford University.
Sherry is an executive committee member of the British Chamber of Commerce Shanghai (2012-2014) and appointed as an envoy to the city of Manchester at the House of Lords in London in 2013.
