Professor of Finance, and currently Postgraduate Research Director and Deputy Head of School, Professor Hyde is also member of various important financial association and organizations, including the Centre for the Analysis of Investment Risk, the American Finance Association; and sits on the advisory board of the Financial Markets and Institutions group of the British Accounting and Finance Association. His principal research interests focus on a range of issues in empirical finance particularly with respect to international finance or emerging markets.
