In the afternoon of 10th April, The University of Manchester China Centre is very delighted to invite you for Alumni Talk and Industrial Insights in Shanghai. During the event, Manchester Global MBA senior alumni, Andrew Poon, Senior Partner at Digital Force, and Ming Lin, Senior brand marketing consultant, will deliver speeches to provide you with an in-depth understanding of how to build an effective communication with your consumers to keep your company’s competitive power, by applying the latest practical cases in general business and fashion industry.

Andrew Poon

Senior Partner, Digital Force

Andrew is from Hong Kong, he gained his first degree from the University of Warwick in UK, and now he is our Manchester Global MBA Student, July 2019 intake.

Andrew has 15 years’ experience in through the line advertising. He is now one of the Senior Partners of Digital Force, a digital consultancy agency that provides total digital solutions for lifestyle brands.

His industry experience includes auto, FMCG, fashion and travel.





Ming Lin

Senior Brand Marketing Consultant

Ming is a Canadian Chinese born in Taiwan, grew up in Toronto and went to college for architecture, fine art and design. Have been in Shanghai China for the past 13 years and currently the student rep of Jan 2020 intake.

He has been in the world of advertising and consumer marketing for the past 19 years. Previously worked for WPP, Omnicom, Publicis group in digital / PR/ Mar-com/ CRM/ events with clients from various categories.

Currently an independent consultant focusing in digital and lifestyle brand practices.

MSc International Fashion Marketing

The University of Manchester has launched 2-year MSc International Fashion Marketing part-time and blended learning course which combines online learning and face-to-face field trips to fashion capitals such as Shanghai, London, Paris, Milan and Dubai. During the field trips, the students will have the chance to experience how the global fashion industry operates in different geographic regions as well as network with your fellow students.
