When all streets and lanes are decorated with vibrant red lanterns and colourful lights, the Chinese New Year is approaching. During this grandest festival in China, what means the most important to us is family reunion and community celebration!

China Centre Welcomed Manchester Global MBA New Students
 

From 7th to 8th Jan., the welcome event for Manchester Global Part-time MBA January 2020 new students was successfully held at the University of Manchester China Centre. 64 outstanding working professionals officially entered the University of Manchester. Ms. Sherry Fu, Director of the University of Manchester China Centre, Dr. Jiyao Xun, Associate MBA Director AMBS, Senior Programme Administrator Ms. Maria Serra and China Centre Student Support Team attended the induction and witnessed the new students embarking on their transformational learning journey.

On the evening of 9th January, The University of Manchester China Centre hosted a Masterclass delivered by Dr. Nick Collett from Alliance Manchester Business School about financial management, which provided an overview of the characteristics and functioning of financial markets in a global context to our prospective students.

China Centre Alumni Talk - Open Innovation for Creative Production
 

On the evening of 14th January, The University of Manchester China Centre Marketing Club invited Ms. Jilu Chen, from Kaizao, a Consumer Co-Creation Community to share us the mindset and tools of open innovation for creative production. She has many years experience in product design and design management at home and abroad, and highlighted that ppen innovation with Consumer let target users accompany the developping process, so that to help corporations getting feedbacks from the market, reducing risks of launching new products; creating products that users really like.

On 15th January, "Innovation and Sustainability” 2019 Corporate Social Responsibility Forum was held by Shanghai Daily. Ms. Sherry Fu, UoM China Centre Director was invited to host the Panel Discussion with Bayer, Corning, Delphi Technologies, Covestro, Shui On Land to share the experiences on innovation, sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
