On 14 March 2013, MBS Regional Director Ms. Sherry Fu, on behalf of Manchester Business School China Centre donated cash RMB 10,000 to Unilever Hope School Project.

The donation ceremony was held at Unilever North Asia Headquarter in Shanghai. Mr. XiwenZeng, Unilever North Asia VP of Corporate Affairs, presented and accepted the donation. Ms. Helen Zhu, Senior Corporate Communications Manager, Ms Melanie Hu, Corporate Communications, Donators Ivan Tjong-A-Hung (2009 Intake, MBS (Finance) MBA alumnus) and Simon Feng( 2013 intake, Global MBA student), Yiyi Chen, MBS China Centre External Officer attended the ceremony. Simon and Ivan won auctions sponsored by Virgin Atlantic Airway, and as planned, MBS China centre donatedthat money to Unilever Hope School Project in China.
