2021 is about to close with the approaching of Christmas. This year remains complex and uncertain under the ongoing impact of global pandemic, while we would like to share with you some of our highlights.
Thanks to the great support from Dame Professor Nancy Rothwell, President of the University of Manchester, we’ve had a chance to host an unforgettable Graduation Celebration in Shenzhen,China for all the 2021 Chinese graduates of the UoM. Whilst the travel restriction kept the students away from visiting Manchester Campus, the China Centre will stand with them as always and act as a warm home.
This year, we’ve also had a series of informative and inspiring events. As an advocacy to the University’s core strategic goal in Social Responsibility, we’ve been continuously leading and participating in SDGs events in China, with a wild range of focuses including ESG, Students for Sustainability, Women Leadership and etc. In the meantime, with more UoM part-time master courses set sail via China Centre, we are extremely proud for keep bringing prestigious British tertiary education to working professionals in diverse industries in China.
While having farewell to 2021, we are sincerely looking forward to a brand new 2022 that full of transformations, challenges, and great opportunities. Together with all China Centre staff, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our students, alumni and partners for another spectacular year.
Wish you and your family a festive Christmas holiday and a Happy New Year!
