“China Education Online” Interviewed Sherry Fu, Regional Director of MBS China Centre
On the 23rd of April 2014, “China Education Online” interviewed Sherry Fu. Regional Director of MBS China Centre.

In the interview, Sherry talked about MBS China Centre’s amazing development in the past five years. In 2008, MBS opened its China centre in Shanghai, bringing British world-class business education to the Chinese market, and demonstrating a strong and long-term commitment to China. This was a strategic move of MBS, not only our commitment is to China students, but also to deliver top level talents to Companies in China. Till today, MBS China Centre has more than 880 part-time MBA students.

Sherry also explained the Manchester Method – learning by doing, how it makes us stand out from Chinese Business Schools and other international Business Schools. The Manchester Method focuses on group work, practice-based learning and self-reflection. It allows our students to use and build their own experiences to improve their skills and manage complex projects. And it is something they can use immediately at work.

It is an international project, Sherry said, students can choose to study at any of our global centres. In the China Centre, 70% of the students are from outside China. We also provide excellent career development opportunities including career counselling, working with MNCs and head hunting companies to explore management level position for our students, hosting career related seminars to invite professional career coach, business people and HR Directors to share their experiences. Not only our students can gain elite career opportunities, but also they can improve their interpersonal skills and network.
