MBS China Centre Healthcare Club Team won third place of Siemens China MBA Healthcare Industry Business Innovation Competition

The 2014 “Siemens Cup” China MBA Healthcare Industry Business Innovation Competition was held in CEIBS on 14 April. Business schools from all over China showed great interest in this event. There were a total of 38 teams that have registered and actively participated in the competition. After careful and strict evaluation of the first round, 8 teams were selected to enter the final competition.



Team from MBS China Centre Healthcare Club was being shortlisted to be one of the top 8 outstanding teams. The team members are  Yunfei Zhang (Global MBA 2012 July Intake) Greater China BD Director of Crown Bioscience Inc.,  Shelly Lai (Global MBA 2011 July Intake) Marketing Manager of AstraZeneca China, Regina Yu (Global MBA 2012 Jan Inakte)Project Manager of GSK R&D China , David Xu (Global MBA 2013 Jan Intake) Medical Supervisor of Pfizer. They prepared for the competition for two months at spare time of working and studying. MBS team was the only one who are the part time MBA students which is also the advantage to apply the model and academic theories into real business. After presentation and tough Q&A session, the team won third place and their excellent presentation impressed all the audiences.



MBS China Centre will continue supporting Global MBA students and alumni to participate in those kinds of activities and completions to present MBS spiritual—Original Thinking Applied.  The MBS CHINA Alumni Healthcare Club was launched in 2013, there are 11 Executive Committee Members and on-growing members. During the past one year, Healthcare Club regularly runs events, seminars and gathering.  Healthcare Club aim to be a dynamic and influential Club crossing the academic and industry.
