To kick off the “Manchester Memories” Photo Competition Awards Ceremony, MBS China Centre invites Phil Roebuck, Executive Director of the British Chamber of Commerce Shanghai, a native Mancunian to talk about his hometown Manchester, this fascinating city. After Phil's speech, the top 10 winners of photo competition will be invited onto the stage and share their photo stories and experiences in Manchester.

About Speaker:
Phil Roebuck, Executive Director of the British Chamber of Commerce Shanghai
Originally from Manchester, Phil studied at the University of Essex, graduating with an honours degree in computer and microprocessor engineering. He has over 20 years of international business experience working with blue chip companies in both the telecommunication and broadcast industries throughout EMEA and Asia. Phil first came to China in 1994 as the business development manager for the UK’s largest telecommunications manufacturer. He returned in 2005 to work for a UK-based broadcasting company, serving simultaneously as the China GM and president of the company’s Japan trading business. Phil joined the Chamber in 2010.
