Leadership Forum - Session 4

The event was started with the guidance on ‘empowerment’ by Simon, followed up by Peter with full explanation and case studies on this topic. As the event was held during the period when overseas students came to the China Centre to study their courses, it attracted some overseas students to join and discuss together with our local China Centre alumni. During the tea break, a special ceremony was held to celebrate one alumnus’ birthday! He was from Singapore Centre. All participants wished him a happy birthday and enjoyed the big birthday cake. It must be an unforgettable night for this alumnus.

After the tea break, there was a Q&A session. Alumni raised various questions most of which came from their daily work.

Leadership Forum was held once a month. It was started from this May and was quickly gaining popularity. Simon Zhou, one of our GMBA alumni, volunteered and contributed his leisure time to initiate and facilitate every time. Guest speakers are either our alumni or external guests with own work experiences and deep understanding on various aspects of leadership.
